Serious felony charges with a mandatory minimum sentence of 2-20 years in prison for anyone who “knowingly and without authority and by either force or violence or by electronic means interferes with the proper operation” of critical infrastructure.” Misdemeanor charges (up to one year in prison) for persons who would “alter or interfere with any critical infrastructure” or “interfere with the proper action of such a company, municipality, or political subdivision owning critical infrastructure.”
